Project Description
Simulation scenes with implementation examples for conducting user study on meniscus examination and arthroscopic portal creation using the reality based method. Haptic feedback using 3D systems touch haptic device.
The research conducted at NTNU focus on developing a digital twin for arthroscopic surgery with haptic feedback in SOFA. The team studies biomechanical parameter identification for linear-elastic and hyperelastic parameters of the human meniscus (ii) reality-based haptic feedback in SOFA and (iii) patient-specific considerations. Their work also extend to arthroscopic shoulder surgery simulation with Follou Haptics in SOFA.
