Tagged: SOFA_2112, SofaPython3, VS2019, win10, Windows_10
Hello all, I am experiencing an error I have seen in other posts to this forum with not being able to properly add SofaPython3 as a plugin to SOFA. I am using Python 3.8.8, Windows 10 machine and have downloaded the binary of SOFA v21.12. I am able to open SOFA just fine using runSofa
(I use Windows PowerShell) as well as run the various .scn
tutorials. However when I do this is prints the error message “Plugin loading failed (C:/Users/Charlie/SOFA/v21.12.00/bin/SofaPython3.dll): The specified module could not be found.” When I try to add the plugin via the Plugin Manager it pops up an error window saying the same error message as above. I have the SofaPython3.dll files in the correct places, or at least have not removed the files from where they should be according to other forum posts I have reviewed.
