Compliance Robotics, a company created in 2024, joins the SOFA consortium as a Technical Member. The robotic company will therefore take part and vote at the Technical Committees in charge of defining the technical roadmap of the open-source project.
Compliance Robotics uses the innovative principles of soft robotics to improve the current state of robotics. All by relying on SOFA and the soft-robotics suite. The company already sells EMIO Lab a soft-robotic toolkit for academic purposes.
Joining the consortium is not a single statement of a partner’s interest in SOFA, but it is also the best way to contribute to adequate staffing for increasingly better versions of SOFA. Becoming a member therefore ensures the long-term sustainability, interoperability, and impact of your work based on SOFA.
